1971–1993:
Foundations of Leadership

  • Born: September 28, 1971, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria
  • Heritage: Descendant of the revered Oranfe Dynasty of Ile-Ife
  • Family: Son of Moses Dokun Oralusi (Christian civil servant) and Adunni Abiodun Oralusi (Muslim entrepreneur)
  • Education:
    • Seventh-day Adventist Primary School
    • Ibadan Grammar School

1994–2003: Global Education & Cross-Cultural Formation

  • 1994: Relocated to Austria to study Theology at the Christian College in Vienna
  • 1996–2000:
  • Earned German Language Certification (Volkshochschulen Langenfeldgasse, Vienna)
  • Completed Diploma in Business Informatics (Humboldt Institute)
  • Achieved English Level C1 certification
  • MSc in Human Resource Management & Organisational Development (PEF Private University of Management Vienna)
  • 2003: Completed a Level 7 Business & Management Programme at Frisby College, UK
  • 2003: Entry into Public Service

2008–2012:
Visionary Institution Builder

  • Founded the Nigerian Capital Development Fund (NCDF Group)
    • Nigeria’s leading platform for blended finance and impact investment
    • Mission: Mobilizing capital for social housing, renewable energy, healthcare, and entrepreneurship
  • Led development of pilot programmes in affordable housing and SME funding in partnership with state governments

2013–2016:
Bridging Finance and Development in the UK

  • Founded the London School of Social Enterprise and Sustainable Economics (LSSE)
    • Built to train future leaders in ethical enterprise, impact investing, and policy innovation
    • Created pathways for diaspora-led social impact businesses in the UK
  • Launched capacity-building programmes for African governments through LSSE partnerships

2017–2020:
Finance & Innovation in Emerging Economies

  • Founded EmergX Finance Corporation (UK)
    • A development finance institution mobilizing capital for infrastructure and social development in Africa
    • Emerged as a key player in blended finance, managing multiple investment funds and bonds
  • Partnered with governments and DFIs to develop sustainable transport, energy, and health infrastructure

2020–2023:
Diaspora Investment & U.S. Expansion

  • Founded Fatherland Holdings Inc. (USA)
    • A diaspora-led conglomerate investing in real estate, tourism, fintech, and agriculture
    • Opened channels for African Americans and the Afro-Caribbean diaspora to reinvest in Africa
  • Developed Fatherland Smart Cities & Diaspora Housing Programme
    • Designed as a structured solution for diaspora homeownership in Nigeria

2023–Present:
Leadership Without Borders

  • Strengthened NCDF’s role as Nigeria’s leading private-sector anchor for diaspora investment and development
  • Led the launch of the NCDF Diaspora Impact Fund, Opportunity Growth Fund, and Green Infrastructure Bond
  • Co-created the Global Diaspora Opportunity Initiative (G-DOI)
    • Mobilizing Nigerians in the diaspora to invest in national development through housing, renewable energy, and enterprise

Legacy in Progress
